My school trip

                 My trip     

 Last Thursday the whole senior school went to rainbow fairy springs my most exiting  bite was the big splash  because at the end i put my head out of the boat and at the end the water would, hit my head and soak all throw.But they have stopped some things on the big splash like the eagle that fly's above your head, the log that falls behind you but except that it's amazing.
and i love the play ground I liked the big playground the most, also i went on the big splash 9 times also I went on playground for 45 minutes, so what i'm  trying to say is it was awesome.

Going to Christchurch

                                                  Going to Christchurch


The first  Wednesday of the holiday I was  pumped  it was 6.00am in the morning i was going to Christchurch.

My first activity in christchurch was the Gondolas!!!!.
i got there i looked up and i just saw the top it looked extremely staep,i got on the  Gondola ride it wasn’t that staep until we go to the huge mountain then it got very staep when we   got up to the top, there was a great view it was amazing i could see the whole city from up there.Then my mum and i went to the gift shop we got 2 things,  then we went on a ride it told us everything about christchurch  starting  from the 1800 to 2015.  My mum and i got of the ride then went on the mountain to the view for about 38 minutes 1 day later.

When we woke up we got   breakfast we went in the car that my dad hired for my mum and i we waited for the traim for 20 minutes then we got on the traim  we sat on it for about 25 minutes then we got of and looked around the city and then got back on the slow traim. He showed us every art work  on the city there we heaps it was amazing it fascinated me, it blow my mind 1 hour and 46 minutes later.

First we got there we hopped out of the car then we went in the arctic  centre we got our tickets then i went into the storm room but first i had to get a jacket on  and rubber boots on to.

The Respiratory system

 Intro:
Today we are going to teach about the Respiratory system what it does for you how does it work, how it keeps you healthy and the parts for it. The main parts are Epiglottis, lungs, Nostril ,the pulmonary vessel and many more.

What does the Respiratory system do for you?
When you breath in you get oxygen, you breath out carbon dioxide  (Co2). The lungs pushes the oxygen around the body that goes to your hands and toes all around ,your body then it goes back up through your throat then you breath out carbon dioxide.

how it keeps you healthy?
If you want to keep your lungs healthy these are the thing you definitely don’t want to do breathe in polluted air like some place in china ,chimney locked spaces , definitely keep healthy and never ever SMOKE because it gets in your lungs and you can have a heart attack.
You can keep your lungs healthy by running as fast as a cheetah and keep healthy.

There are the, lungs, epiglottis, Nostrils and the pulmonary vessel and many more that were going to teach you about right now the main part arthey the lungs because they help you breathe the oxygen goes threw your body then back out that is why the lungs are the main parts.

Moaktails

What we did 

the 9th of August 2017  my class,  we made mocktails in mine Ryan e a         nd William.

why we did it

we did it because it's fun and there is a  little bit of math because you have to count how many MLS you put in the drink.

What I learned 


I learned how to count Miller liters, for instance, 75ml  +  67ml  =  142ml.

Rocket science


yesterday we did rocket science it was amazing and interesting because  we got to see the pressure build up in the mini  rocket.



I think it was amazing because we could stomp on a pressure thing ,then it would fly up into the air but what we found out is if you jump of a high and land on it doesn't go as high,when stomp on it when you're on the it goes higher.


I  saw on the pumping one if you pump 10 more than the  other one it doesn't go that much higher only like a 1.3rd of a meter more than the other time.



i wonder if you pump 100 ones if it will break the bottle or not or if it will evan go of the if you do 5 pumps.

Sustainability Project

This term my class has learnt about sustainability and how plastic bags can kill the environment and the world,also it can affect global warming so try to use renewable energy instead of  fossil energy.I liked that we could make a fun project about not using plastic and i made  a stop motion to make our project,but next time i will try to do some thing that no one has thought of before.

INTO THE WOODS

A long time ago some St Mary's  kids went to watch into the woods at the  Sir Howard  Morison  convenience centre preformed  by JPC.

 All the props on the stage  is amazing  and the building's  on the stage like the tower and the tree's.

 The costumes were exstordenery like the princes and Cinderella's costumes  and all the other caraters  costumes.

 Talking about caraters  they made it fell like it was real  because  there faceless expression was amazing like i thought it was coming to life.

The story line was done perfectly  the only thing  that was bad about it was it was a little bit to long but its wore it.

I think  it was amazing because  i was in a cool group and i learnt some new stuff.


I learnt to that apple juice is worse  than coke in sugar because Kerri's apple juice had 36 g and coke had 16 g. 

I wonder how Kerri's apple juice  has more sugar  than coke.

On wensday Leah Nathaniel and my mum also me were making hot crust buns for the class the fist step we did was pouring the milk a couple steps later we stered the doe  the next step was punting it in a bowl then  punting rasings in it  then we put it out off the bowl and I started punching the doe then we made it into bols and put it in the oven then we were done.

    The great war Maui

    My goal for next time is to make it more existing.



    The great battle of maui and the taniwha hinemoa.

    Maui saw the taniwha coming so he punched the taniwha into the lava with his fish hook. Maui shouted in excitement hoora! . When he got back everyone thought he was a hero but what they did not know is that the Taniwha was still alive and the Taniwha came out of  the volcano shouting YES I’M STILL ALIVE you will never beat me maui HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! so nice to have a warm bath once and awhile i hate cold bath’s.


    The next day the lava  blasted out of the volcano then hinemoa heard a voice  so she followed it and then she ran up the volcano she got eaten by that really irritating taniwha and she burning in his mouth trying to escape before she could she burnt in the taniwha mouth a a a a a a a h h h h h h h h h h h h h! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! screamed hinemoa


    When maui found out that hinemoa died he blamed it on the taniwha and he thought that the taniwha killed her  so maui got ferrous maui turned into a giant hawk and flow up the volcano and found the taniwha on top of the volcano and he was confused he thought he killed the taniwha.
    no now he was even more angry so he launched at the taniwha but the taniwha blocked the hit with maui’s magic fish Hook. So the taniwha got ferrous and hit maui which made maui go flying, he got back up and chopped the taniwha arm right off and then taniwha yelled at maui and again maui  chopped his other arm off and kept battering that poor taniwha on the head,forehead and back so the taniwha simply gave up because knows it is the end for him maui killed the taniwha for good but is that true so just to make sure so maui gave up his life well at least that’s what he thought maui plunged after the taniwha grabbed him and fell into the lava maui cut that taniwha in half  well it was in the lava. Maui however stayed alive and swam up to the surface and told  everybody in the village about killing the taniwha for good and went to hinemoa’s funeral at the end he disappeared but he found out it was only the baby which made the mother taniwha ANGRY!!!!! I'M GONNA GET YOU MAUI AND I'M GONNA TAKE YOUR FISH HOOK AND BREAK IT. I gonna get YOU MAUI.
         
    Maui got rid off the the taniwha by battering the taniwha on the head heap’s off times with his fish hook.

    Fireworks

    on wends day our class did science and it was fireworks but we did not achurlly make fireworks we got a candle and we got some coulering stuff and we put it on the fire and it cange the coulors. Of the flame then our teacher  showd us  a thing that acks like a firework  but its  not it is a tea bag  papper thing  and he lit it with fire and it was so lite and it started flying.

    Bike Measurement

    One week ago we had to bike to school and we measurement our bike and our group yoused Don bike i notiecd it was 192 cm and doing it 5 times it was 962cm and it would of been alote easyer if it was 200cm because we could measur it with the 1 m ruller 2 times to get it.
